Metal
Separators - SEP-GA
The SEP-GA metal separators
are specifically designed and built to detect and separate both
ferrous and nonferrous metal contaminants from a material flow stream.
These compact and portable units are perfectly suited for machine
mounting below a cyclone, gravity drop tube or vacuum receiver,
with a hand feed hopper, they are easily used off line or in a laboratory
environment.
They are ideal protection devices in the food, pharmaceutical,
and chemical/plastics industries with the ability to detect and
reject metal particles as small as 0.02 inches in diameter at throughputs
as high as 243 cubic feet per hour of pelletized, granular or free
flowing powdered material.
The metal separators feature a rugged cast aluminum housing, plastic
diverter flap and cast stainless steel diverter chute assembled
as a low profile, dust tight unit. A full series of mechanical options
include a choice of inlet hoppers and discharge adapters and food
grade material contact surfaces. All electrical components are self
contained within the unit and include options such as A 24 volt
PLC interface contact for rejection cycle counting.
The Foremost Metal Separators have a proven record of long, reliable
service in a variety of applications. Let our 25-plus years of providing
metal separation solutions help solve your problems.
