Metal Separators - SEP-1V

The Foremost Metal Extractor SEP-IV can be integrated into vacuum or suction conveying lines measuring 1-1/2" to 2-3/4" OD. This self contained, 110 volt unit consists of a sensing ring, spun aluminum cyclone, an air operated diverter chute and all control electronics. Material is pulled through the extractor via vacuum, entering at the sensing ring, then passing through the cyclone and diverter chute into the process machine. Metal to 1.0mm is separated at the diverter.

Vacuum in the cyclone is maintained during the separation process to allow continuous flow of material. The SEP-IV is well suited for use with materials varying in bulk density or material with an inconsistent flow rate.

The SEP-IV detects and separates metal contaminants which can damage equipment downline.

Compact size allows for easy installation into existing conveying lines.
